The soul of Black Music (GOSPEL, SOUL, BLUES & JAZZ) made in the USA, is the central inspiration of the 2019 edition of the spring five-day #UmbriaJazz. Terni hosts the most substantial & articulate billboard of Black Music (in its widest meaning) at a national level.

About the event
Umbria Jazz Spring (Terni, 18 - 22 April) offers a variety of spaces to follow the natural needs of musical genres: from clubs, the "Houses" of Jazz, to the Sanctuary of San Francesco, a place of prayer and cradle of Gospel; from the CAOS, space of art, cultural production and aggregation, which will host the Blues, the Soul and the more transversal strands, up to the road, the natural habitat of the marching band. Sixty events, mostly free admission, with over one hundred artists on the bill, in line with the clear desire to make the festival as accessible as possible.
